In 2009 three Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dogs were chosen to play the star role of ‘Bluey’ in ‘The Story of True Blue’ a Sydney Royal Easter Show production 9-22 April every evening at 7.30 in the NAB Arena. Two out of the three dogs were ‘Ambajaye’. They were trained by Kirsko Film Animals. The fast-paced excitement and challenges of outback life were brought alive by performers and stockmen, with numerous livestock thundering through the arena. The action packed sequences were complemented with an Indigenous ceremony with respect to Australia’s traditional owners. John Williamson opened the performance with his famous ‘True Blue’.
